Chehardy Sherman Williams Announces 2017 Super Lawyers, Hammond Office Hires

NEW ORLEANS – Chehardy Sherman Williams congratulates its nine attorneys who have been recognized as 2017 Louisiana Super Lawyers.

         Attorney David Sherman is recognized for his work in Business/ Corporate Law; James Williams for General Litigation; Julian Murray, Jr., for White Collar Criminal Defense; Conrad Meyer, IV for Estate Planning & Probate Law; Steven Hayes also for Estate Planning & Probate Law; P.J. Stakelum III for Business Litigation and Patrick K. Reso, who is the firm's newest partner, for his work in Estate Planning & Probate Law.

         Two attorneys were recognized as 2017 Rising Stars, including Inemesit U. O’Boyle for Plaintiff Litigation and Preston L. Hayes for General Litigation.

         The Chehardy Sherman Williams law firm also announced the opening of its new office in Hammond, LA. The new branch will be located at 111 N. Oak St., Suite 200.

         It will be headed by attorney Patrick K. Reso, Board Certified Tax Law Specialist and Estate Planning and Administration Specialist, who is also a partner with Chehardy Sherman Williams. Reso will be joined by attorneys Jennifer A. Lee, handling business and corporate law as well as estate planning and succession; Elsbet C. Smith, who will handle business and corporate law, estate planning and successions and real estate; and Frank J. DiVittorio, who practices in the areas of commercial transactions and litigation, debt collection, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, family law, succession litigation, estate planning, and real estate.
