Chef Alex Harrell's Angeline Restaurant To Relocate Operations
NEW ORLEANS — Chef Alex Harrell and his team are moving! After three successful years in the current Angeline space, Harrell will suspend service until the new plans are complete. The final dinner service from the Chartres Street space will be on Sunday, June 3. The team behind Angeline opted to leave the current space following negotiations to renew the lease.
“After careful consideration of the proposed terms of our new lease, we have decided to move operations to a new location in order to maintain the integrity of our business operations and staff culture,” explains Harrell, chef-owner of Angeline. “This move will allow for increased stability and longevity.”
Angeline opened in the French Quarter in March 2015 serving Chef Harrell’s contemporary approach to Southern flavors and dishes. It received immediate local, regional and national attention for its clean and straightforward cuisine and beautiful interiors.
