Catersource Returns To New Orleans For Its 25th Anniversary

NEW ORLEANS – Catersource Conference and Tradeshow (CS2017), the world’s premier event for catering and event professionals, has returned to New Orleans for its 25th anniversary. The four-day event is attracting thousands of attendees from around the globe. Nearly 350 companies exhibiting at the conference are occupying more than 290,000 square feet of floor space at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center (MCCNO). Attendees will gather through Wednesday, March 15, to learn more about all corners of the thriving special events and catering business. Packed with expert speakers, educational sessions and an extensive tradeshow floor, the conference is designed to showcase the most up-and-coming trends as well as tools and tips to give professionals a leg-up in the competitive catering and events industry, conference reps said.

         New this year, The Art of Catering Food, is a three-day intensive course for chefs and catering kitchen staff. Professionals will gain unmatched inspiration through in-depth and specialized content for menu development, conference reps said.

         To add to the list of exciting features at this year’s show, Louisiana native and Restaurant R’evolution owner, John Folse, will lead an all-star line-up of speakers including: Food Network’s "Chopped" Champion, Eric LeVine; author and customer loyalty expert, Jackie Huba; one of the world's leading experts in new media, Mitch Joel; and distinguished consultant, keynote speaker, eight-time business author and former Disney training leader, Doug Lipp.

         Catersource Conference and Tradeshow was last held in New Orleans in 1992 for its very first show. This year, the event returns to bring the industry’s top suppliers, buyers and sellers back under one roof for networking, learning, business and fun.
