Calling All Francophiles! Windsor Court Hotel To Host Bastille Day Wine Dinner

NEW ORLEANS – Calling all Francophiles! In honor of Bastille Day, The Grill Room at Windsor Court, 300 Gravier St., and Chef de Cuisine Gabriel Charpentier are celebrating with a special prix fixe wine dinner on Friday, July 14.
The festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. with a champagne reception, and at 7:00 p.m. guests will sit down for six-courses of French fare paired with wines from the regions of Bordeaux, Savennieres and Alsace.
Charpentier, who joined The Grill Room team last summer, is no stranger to French cuisine. Upon graduating from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary College in Minnesota, Charpentier moved to France, where he trained under Chef Benoit Vidal, a two Michelin Star recipient. He later returned to the U.S., where he worked alongside Stewart Woodman, one of Food and Wine Magazine’s “Best New Chefs of 2006,” before relocating to Chambers Kitchen, helmed by world-famous Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
