Benjamin Franklin High School To Host Falcon Feast Athletic Fundraiser

NEW ORLEANS – Benjamin Franklin High School will host its annual Falcon Feast on Thursday, March 23, from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Falcon Feast is the school's most important fundraiser for athletic activities, facilities and events. The monies raised from this event are used to purchase necessary equipment, to enhance locker rooms in dire need of repair and to raise money for stadium lights, bus transportation and other needs of our Falcon athletic teams.

This year's Falcon Feast will be held at the University of New Orleans' School of Hospitality, Restaurant, and Tourism building, 2000 Lakeshore Dr., just west of the main UNO entrance along Lakeshore Drive.

The feast includes an Italian dinner, wine, beer, a signature cocktail, dessert and coffee. Music will be performed by Ben Franklin musicians and there will be a silent auction.

Benjamin Franklin High School, a public charter school, has been preparing students for success through academic achievement since it was founded in 1957, school reps said. Consistently ranked as a “top public high school in the nation” by U.S. News and World Report, Newsweek and Business Week, Franklin has received the highest School Performance Score in Louisiana, making it the No. 1 public school in the state, year after year, school reps said.  Franklin is repeatedly named a National Blue Ribbon School, producing Presidential and National Merit Scholars each year.

Admission to Falcon Feast is $40 per person and $50 at the door.

Attendees can pay at the school's main front office or here
