Baker Donelson Adds Christine M. White to Labor & Employment Group

NEW ORLEANS – Christine M. White joined the Baker Donelson firm as a shareholder with more than 15 years of experience defending employers against discrimination claims, wage and hour matters, and advising employers on various employment issues, and other litigation. Additional details were shared in a press release.

White has broad litigation experience and has successfully defended clients in cases involving critical workplace issues at the federal and state levels. She focuses a large portion of her practice on wage-and-hour compliance and litigation and has represented employers in the energy industry in numerous individual, mass plaintiff, and collective actions in addition to handling United States Department of Labor audits and investigations for companies.

White has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® and in Louisiana Super Lawyers since 2013. She is a member of the New Orleans, Louisiana State and Texas State Bar Associations.

"Christine is a highly-regarded practitioner in the area of employment law, serving as an advocate for her clients and helping them navigate through complex issues," said Nancy Scott Degan, managing shareholder of Baker Donelson's New Orleans and Mandeville offices. "We are pleased to welcome her and are confident that her arrival will continue to strengthen our capabilities in this area."

White is one of two shareholders to join Baker Donelson's Labor & Employment Group in Louisiana in the past week. Jennifer L. Anderson recently joined the Firm's Baton Rouge office and focuses her practice on wage and hour compliance and litigation.
