Argent Trust Company Welcomes Business Development Officer to New Orleans Office

NEW ORLEANS – Argent Trust Company recently announced that Jill Knight Nalty has joined the company as business development officer in its New Orleans office. She will report to market president Kevin Reed. Additional details were shared in a press release.

As business development officer, Nalty will be responsible for new client outreach and strengthening current customer relationships.

Nalty has 13 years of banking experience in New Orleans having served the banking community at Hibernia National Bank and First Commerce Corporation. She has spent her most recent decades in fundraising efforts in the nonprofit sector in the New Orleans community. In particular, she has worked with Children's Hospital, Ochsner Pediatrics, Junior Achievement, and the Audubon Institute. She currently serves on the Board of Baptist Community Ministries and has served on the boards of the Edward G. Schlieder Educational Foundation, the Junior League of New Orleans, and the Young Leadership Council.

In addition, she has been involved with a number of New Orleans activist groups such as Women of the Storm, Katrina Krewe, Girls on the Run, and Heart of Passion.

Earlier in her career, Nalty worked for more than a decade in the New Orleans banking industry, holding positions at Hibernia National Bank, First National Bank of Commerce and Whitney National Bank.

Nalty received her master’s of business administration from the University of New Orleans and a bachelor’s degree in business from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
