KENNER, LA – The American Cancer Society will host a Black Ties, Gold and Glitter Tailgate Party on Thursday, Nov. 17, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel New Orleans Airport, 2829 Williams Blvd., in Kenner, from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit Relay For Life of East Jefferson Parish, which raises funds for cancer research, education, advocacy and local patient services.
The tailgating-style event will include a buffet dinner, cash bar, live and silent auction with Chuck Mutz, “The Black Tie Auctioneer,” a football pool and a viewing of the Saints versus Panthers football game on the big screen. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite black and gold attire (black ties not required).
