ACG LA’s Annual ‘Taste Of New Orleans’ To Highlight Educational Events, Deal Making, Corporate Growth, Access To Capital On Wednesday

NEW ORLEANS – The Louisiana Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG Louisiana) will host its 5th Annual Taste of New Orleans, on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans.

         This conference will consist of networking, educational events, deal making, and access to capital.

         The Taste of New Orleans keynote speaker will be Gretchen B. Perkins, Partner with Huron Capital Partners. Huron Capital Partners, headquartered in Detroit, MI, is a leading middle market private equity fund with more than $1.1 billion in assets under management. Perkins’ keynote address, “Private Equity-Changing the Conversation,” will cover the economic engine that private equity is creating with a focus on increase in jobs and sales in New Orleans, State of Louisiana as well as the United States. She will also recount her work in Washington, DC, as it relates to the private equity ecosystem and changing the conversation in terms of the media portrayal of the private equity industry.

         In addition to the luncheon keynote speaker, the conference will present speakers and panel discussions on a variety of topics such as Private Equity Exit Strategies, Trends In Private Equity, Preparing A Company For Sale Or Capital Investment, Post-Closing Indemnity Claims – Market Trends And Recent Developments and Post-Closing Transaction Issues.

         As always, one of the highlights of the conference will be the evening networking reception where private equity firms, commercial banks, investment banks, venture capital firms and other providers of capital will host tables to meet with more than 200 corporate executives, lawyers, accountants, investment bankers and other business professionals while serving attendees a taste of New Orleans inspired cocktails and cuisine. The trade show type of setting will allow for attendees to speak to business professionals about debt and equity financing, or completing merger and acquisition transactions. These firms collectively represent billions of dollars of capital and are actively looking to complete transactions with businesses in our region.
