8th Annual West Jeff Family Fest To Benefit Medical Center Patients

MARRERO, LA – The two-day, eighth annual West Jeff Family Fest kicks off on Friday, Oct. 13, from 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., followed by another event-filled day on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 12:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., at the West Jefferson Medical Center, 920 Avenue B, in Marrero, behind West Jefferson Hospital.

         The Fest’s live music schedule includes:

 

Friday, Oct. 13

• The Topcats – 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

• Ryan Foret & the Foret Tradition – 8:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

 

Saturday, Oct. 14

• National Anthem sung by Mia Kylie Ditta – 12:00 p.m.

• The Joey Thomas Band – 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

• Aaron Foret – 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

• Junior & Sumtin’ Sneaky – 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

 

         The Fest will also feature amusement rides and a Kid Zone, a Cruise Night, on Friday, Oct. 13, from 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., and on Saturday, Oct. 14, a Car & Bike Show from 12:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m., a Kids’ Costume Contest from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., and Trunk or Treat event at 2:00 p.m., raffles and door prizes.

         Food, including seafood, festival food, sweets and more, will be served by various vendors, and beverages will be sold by the West Jefferson Hospital Foundation.

         Admission is free and open to all ages.

         Proceeds from food, beverages, rides, etc. will benefit West Jefferson Medical Center patients. Reps with The WJ Hospital Foundation, along with its sponsors, said they are very proud to provide this event to the community.
