NORLI’s incoming 2017 - 2018 class

NEW ORLEANS – New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute (NORLI) recently announced its selection of 43 business, civic and community leaders throughout the 10-parish region who have been named to the 2017 - 2018 class.

“Every year, NORLI attracts many of the most influential and accomplished leaders in our region,” said Mark Cunningham, chairman of NORLI. “These individuals commit their time, energy and expertise to the betterment of the greater New Orleans region and represent the present and future for economic growth and responsible community development.”

As the preeminent regional leadership institute, NORLI provides a nine-month intensive training program for emerging and established community leaders. This rich and robust program, that is geographically, programmatically and demographically diverse, not only enhances the participants’ knowledge base, but also encourages deep, thoughtful, and meaningful dialogue on the key elements of building and maintaining thriving and healthy communities, program reps said.

“Through NORLI, leaders in the region are able to connect with one another, gain a greater perspective on what is happening in the region, and leverage their relationships to accomplish even more for the community," said Stephen Reuther, executive director of NORLI. "It’s an amazing opportunity for all who participate, and NORLI is proud to be at the center of it.”
