Helen Brett Announces First-Ever Concert Featuring Jimmy Charles
NEW ORLEANS – Helen Brett Enterprises, the producer of the popular International Jewelry and Merchandise Show at the New Orleans Convention Center, which is open only to documented business owners from Friday, Oct. 20 - Monday, Oct. 23, in Halls I-J, announced country singer and former American Idol contestant Jimmy Charles will perform. It’s the first time Helen Brett Enterprises is presenting a concert for its attendees and vendors.
Charles’ concert is set for Sunday, Oct. 22, in Halls I-J, at 2:30 p.m.
Helen Brett Enterprises has also partnered with Toys for Tots New Orleans to hold a toy drive for needy children this holiday season. Buyers to the exclusive New Orleans International Jewelry and Merchandise Show who donate an unwrapped and unopened toy will receive five dollars off the first guest pass and five dollars off the second guest pass with the donation of an additional toy.
Helen Brett buyers are encouraged to bring toys for children in need to the International Jewelry and Merchandise Show, which is a “cash and carry” event that first debuted in 1952. The quarterly trade shows attract more than 40,000 buyers from across Gulf Coast each year.
Only unopened and unwrapped toys will be accepted.
The New Orleans International Jewelry and Merchandise Show hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
