Third annual CrimeCon early bird all-access passes go on sale Friday, May 11

NEW ORLEANS – CrimeCon, a weekend-long true crime event that brings the genre we love to life with immersive hands-on experiences, incredible guests, and the world’s top crime podcasters, is excited to be heading to the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, June 7-9, 2019.

Highlights from the second annual event held in Nashville, Tenn. May 4-6, include leading crime experts, educators, and personalities including: CrimeOnline.com founder Nancy Grace; Oxygen’s ‘Cold Justice’ star Kelly Siegler; “Dateline“ correspondents Andrea Canning, Josh Mankiewicz, Keith Morrison, and Dennis Murphy; “48 Hours” correspondent Erin Moriarty with exoneree Ryan Ferguson, and Former FBI Special Agent and “Criminal Minds” producer Jim Clemente.

Guests also heard from Golden State Killer (GSK) survivors Jane Carson-Sandler and Margaret Wardlow, family members of the killer’s victims, and GSK investigator Paul Holes, who reunited to tell their stories and discuss latest developments in the case — including the arrest of a suspect after more than three decades. Billy Jensen and Paul Haynes, contributors to Michelle McNamara’s book about the case, “I’ll be Gone in the Dark,” also provided a deep-dive into the investigation and arrest.

In addition to meeting some of the biggest names in true crime, fans who attend the annual event also have the opportunity to meet dozens of leading true crime podcasters on CrimeCon’s Podcast Row. Past podcasters in attendance include the hosts of Oxygen’s “Martinis & Murder” and shows like “Generation Why,” “Last Podcast on the Left,” “Truth & Justice,” “Real Crime Profile,” “Undisclosed,” and “Up and Vanished.”

Guests staying at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside during CrimeCon 2019 will also have the opportunity toparticipate in exclusive and interactive events. For example, guests who stayed at the Gaylord Opryland during CrimeCon 2018 played a weekend-long immersive murder mystery game where clues were slipped under hotel room doors and planted throughout the property.
