Palmisano Named ‘Fastest Growing Company’ In New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS – Palmisano, a South Louisiana commercial and civil construction firm, has been named the “Fastest Growing Company” in the Greater New Orleans region. Palmisano earned the top spot on the list compiled by New Orleans CityBusiness due to revenues topping $96 million in 2016. The company experienced 123 percent average annual growth over the past three years.

The company, which began in 2013 when Wes Palmisano transitioned his family’s residential construction business into a commercial firm, continues to grow by focusing on innovative, cutting edge technology and by providing creative solutions to their clients building needs, company reps said.

“Our growth is a testament to the hard work of our team,” said President and CEO Wes Palmisano. “At Palmisano, we feel we’ve assembled the next generation of construction professionals. We bring value to our clients through the use of new technologies and different delivery methods as opposed to the long-standing way of doing things in the construction industry. We are grateful for our clients, partners and everyone who has contributed to our growth.”

One sign of that growth is the construction of the company’s new headquarters in the Lower Garden District, company reps said. Palmisano is nearing 100 employees, and has outgrown its current office in the Warehouse District. Looking to the future, Palmisano reps said they will focus on expanding the company’s footprint outside of Southeast Louisiana as well as continuing to diversify its portfolio.

The company started out primarily as a commercial construction firm, but now has a growing portfolio of civil and concrete work, they said.
