New Orleans Airport Aviation Director Appointed To National Industry Leadership Committee

NEW ORLEANS — The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport announced today that Aviation Director Kevin Dolliole was appointed to a committee of national aviation industry professionals focused on driving key legislative and regulatory issues affecting airports across the country as well as developing association policies. Dolliole will serve a 4-year term on the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) Policy Review Committee (PRC), which is comprised of leadership from the nation’s top airports.

“I sincerely appreciate being selected to serve on AAAE’s Policy Review Committee,” said Kevin Dolliole. “I am committed to the mission of advocating for legislative and regulatory issues that not only work to the benefit of the New Orleans Airport, but the entire industry that connects us all together.”

“Kevin Dolliole is a highly respected airport executive, and AAAE is appreciative of his willingness to serve on the Policy Review Committee,” said AAAE Chair Scott Brockman, A.A.E. “Kevin’s talents, insight and input as a leader of one of the nation's largest airports will be incredibly beneficial to AAAE as we continue to refine and advance the policy objectives of airports of all sizes.”

Dolliole will represent the New Orleans Airport and help establish policies around critical issues facing airports today, which is especially important as construction continues on New Orleans’ new, $1 billion airport terminal, which will completely replace the current facility.

Opening in February 2019, the new airport terminal will deliver an improved arrival and departure experience with more modern passenger amenities. The terminal will boast an economic impact of $6.4 billion in local spending and provide over 64,000 jobs by 2023.
