Gulf Coast Trade Alliance To Host ‘Doing Business With Brazil’ Conference

NEW ORLEANS – The “Gulf Coast Trade Alliance 2017: Doing Business in Brazil,” a unique business development conference hosted by the Gulf Coast Trade Alliance, will bring multiple Brazilian delegations from strategic organizations and locales to New Orleans’ UMC’s Conference Center, 2000 Canal St., April 3-6, and convene a dynamic program focusing on three program tracks, in addition to one-on-one networking and meeting opportunities.

The Gulf Coast Trade Alliance (GCTA), consisting of members from Alabama, Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi, will convene business leaders from the region to its annual World Trade Conference, the Gulf Coast’s marquee trade event, which serves as the region’s platform to promote international trade and investment, provide high quality B2B networking opportunities, foster relationships with international business partners and delegations and educate and inform U.S. firms on doing business internationally, event reps said.

This year’s theme will be “Doing Business with Brazil” with a spotlight on the port and maritime infrastructure, healthcare and life sciences sectors. As part of this focus, the GCTA is planning to host a delegation from Brazil to discuss trends in these industries and opportunities for collaboration with Gulf Coast companies:
