NOLA Caribbean Festival To Showcase Caribbean Cuisine, Music, Dance, Culture This Weekend

NEW ORLEANS – This weekend, New Orleans will be celebrating its rich Caribbean heritage at the NOLA Caribbean Festival @ Central City BBQ, 1201 South Rampart St.
         The NOLA Caribbean Festival showcases Caribbean cuisine, music, dance, and culture while highlighting New Orleans' deeply-rooted cultural connections as the Caribbean's northern-most city.
         The NOLA Caribbean Festival will feature top international talent from Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Honduras, Dominican Republic and New Orleans. A slew of top restaurants and food trucks will be serving up delicious dishes, deserts and drinks from all around the Caribbean including vegetarian options, reps said.
         In addition to great music and food, the NOLA Caribbean Festival will have a Kids Corner, Salsa tent, African drum lessons, and New Orleans’ first ever Dancehall VS Bounce dance competition.
         General Admission tickets cost $10 and VIP tickets cost $25.
         VIP tickets are expected to sell out.
