NEW ORLEANS – The Urban League of Louisiana’s (ULLA) annual gala, on Saturday, July 22, at the Hilton Riverside Grand Ballroom, 2 Poydras St., at 8:00 p.m., is a signature fundraising event in support of Urban League programs that focus on early childhood education, college and career readiness, workforce and economic development, educational leadership, parent engagement, policy and advocacy.
There will also be a Benefactor’s Reception at 7:00 p.m. at the black tie optional event.
The much anticipated gala is where Urban League reps get the chance to thank contributors who, by their generosity, provide critical sustainability to the Urban League and its programs, reps said.

Gala Champions are Charles Rice, Jr., president and CEO of Entergy New Orleans, and Tyson Hackenberg, vice president of APTIM.
Norman Robinson will be Master of Ceremonies.
Entertainment will include performances by Erica Falls and Lejit featuring Roi Anthony and Shaun Ward.
The gala will be attended by a diverse group of corporate sponsors and local businesses, civic leaders, volunteers, and public officials. The festive evening will feature delectable food, dancing, live entertainment and award presentations, organizers said.
