CRESCENT CARE/NO AIDS TASK FORCE
ABOUT CRESCENT CARE/NO AIDS TASK FORCE
NO/AIDS Task Force was founded in 1983 as a single phone line in response to the devastating effects of the AIDS epidemic in New Orleans. In the years following, we continued to expand our services in response to community need and the impact of the epidemic on diverse populations. When the community needed healthcare in post-Hurricane Katrina New Orleans, the agency expanded when it became a Federally Qualified Health Center in 2013, utilizing opportunities under the Affordable Care Act. In 2014 we began offering dental services, women’s and children’s services, and legal services. CrescentCare continues to grow rapidly to meet the community needs in the changing health care environment.
