As the preeminent regional leadership institute, NORLI provides a nine-month intensive training program for emerging and established community leaders. This rich and robust program, that is geographically, programmatically and demographically diverse, not only enhances the participants’ knowledge base, but also encourages deep, thoughtful, and meaningful dialogue on the key elements of building and maintaining thriving and healthy communities.

NORLI Executive Director Stephen Reuther said, “A thriving region is the result of intentional leadership, thoughtful partnerships, and deliberate conversations.  It is our responsibility to create a critical mass of thought leadership around Regional issues that require a deeper understanding, while also providing participants with the tools and connections to be even greater sources of catalytic change.  NORLI has stood at the forefront of this effort for 18 years, and every year we continue to marvel at the work of our 700 Alumni."
