Williams Appointed To Tulane University Law School Dean’s Advisory Board

NEW ORLEANS – Adams and Reese associate Graham H. Williams has been appointed to serve on Tulane University Law School’s Dean’s Advisory Board, effective September 23, 2016. In his role, Williams will serve a three-year term as part of an advisory and consultative group working with the Dean of Tulane University Law School to advance the overall strategy and interests of the school. Williams, who joined Adams and Reese in 2015, is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group, practicing in the multidisciplinary firm’s New Orleans office.

         The Tulane Dean’s Advisory Board functions as an advisory committee offering the perspective of alumni and esteemed supporters of the law school on matters of school policy, activities, programs and goals. Board members collectively act as advocates for the school within the local, regional and national community and assist the Dean in advancing the interests of the school. Board members also assist in generating funding support and recruitment initiatives.

         Williams is honored to be one of five new members appointed to the board in 2016.

         Williams received his J.D. and a Certificate in Civil Law from Tulane Law School in 2015. As a Tulane law student, he served as executive president of the Tulane’s Student Bar Association, as a managing editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal and as sole student representative on the Dean Meyer Five Year Review Committee. He co-founded a class gift campaign that has been adopted by successive classes. He was also honored with the Tulane 34 Award for his leadership, service and academic achievements.
